Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Civil Engineer to join our engineering team. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of civil engineering projects, where you will assist in the design, planning, and execution of infrastructure and development projects. As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will be exposed to a wide range of engineering disciplines, gaining valuable hands-on experience and mentorship from seasoned professionals.
Projects may encompass a diverse range of civil engineering work, including roadways, bridges, wastewater collection and treatment systems, water supply infrastructure, stormwater collection, mitigation and management, as well as site design and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and planning of civil engineering projects
- Support senior engineers in preparing project documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Perform calculations and analyses to support design decisions, including materials selection, structural integrity, and environmental impact.
- Participate in site inspections, surveys, and data collection to support project development and construction monitoring.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including surveyors, architects, and project managers, to ensure projects meet design specifications and regulatory standards.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- Continuously develop technical skills by learning and applying industry standards, software tools, and design methodologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
Familiarity with civil engineering principles, design practices, and construction processes.
Proficient in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar (or a willingness to learn).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to the success of the team and projects.
